Well guys Im all done with build... still no maiden due to bad weather. Final weight is 34 lbs dry using at kingtech 180. I had to add 12oz into the nose and add pilot(7oz) to get it cg. The plane is about 12grams nose heavy. Will this be ok? Any thoughts? Thanks Paul
Stefan who designed the Viper for Carf likes a nose heavy model, so as Roger says it wants to be rear of his position for most pilots. All the ones I have flown have had the weight taken out after flying. It's a properly designed model with huge tail area so can be balanced very neutral and still be stable.
