Nice job Ace... I was under the impression there was a bigger gap when fitted (requiring a bigger filler), but it looks like the cowl just fits from the firewall forward... that attachment stand off worked out perfectly, and I see clearer why you had to remake the panels... that's quite an oversight on their behave, unless they decided to leave it up to the individual builder to devise their own unique way of attaching the cowl... I've seen quite a few ways of attaching cowls, magnets, invisible plywood rings fiberglassed inside the cowl that attaches with screws through the engine cooling openings onto a matting plywood ring on the firewall... but I'm with squirrly, those mounting screws look very scale like.

Squirrly, I hope this doesn't become a shelf queen, Ace has certainly done some high quality work for you, would make a great static model, but rather, fly the hell out of it to appease the RC gods
