yes can't say I have had much luck with lotto either. Those sort of things have a habit of reaching up and plucking your plane right out of the sky, natures SAM!
We had our Ekka Show holiday here yesterday. Ekka is a bit like your state fair. So had the day to play in the shed. Got all of the old white sanded back with 400 wet & dry paper used wet. Sanded it back to the primer base coat, masked it all up and sprayed new coat of primer.
We had a thunderstrom come through about mid after noon and wind was gusty so I packed it up for that day at that point. Around 4pm it was sunny and warm again but wasn't in the mood to start playing with paint again by then. Went for a 6.6km walk by the river instead.
Will get back into it Saturday morning. Aim will be to complete invasion stripes on wing and fuz plus a couple of other small jobs this weekend. Would be good to have it ready for the small amount of weathering I plan on doing. then top clear coat to be applied.
It's getting very close!!
