I would say so, but I might be wrong, not knowing your trails and terrain, but also factor in the weight of your vehicle. Most SCX-10's, scaled out and loaded, let's say with a driver and some scale accessories, weigh in around 8 lbs, and that's taken into account wheel weights, and/or maybe beef tubes. 222oz should be fine. The stock Axial AS-3, from the Ridgecrest, is 133oz, and it works real good turning stock 2.2 Ripsaws, as long as you switch to aluminum steering links.
