Guys,

Not sure if anyone already checked the washout information with Top Flite.
Here's what I just got from them after I asked about modifying the washout in the kit to match this from ARF:

"The original P40 kit was designed before we started using the Selig airfoils. Also, the P40 kit is heavily loaded and doesn’t like to fly slow. The customer is correct with adding washout. However, comparing it to the ARF version wouldn’t be good as it uses different airfoils. I would build this with about 3~4 degrees of washout at the tips. The key will be keeping both sides exactly the same. He will have to know not to fly it too slow and pay strict attention to the elevator control specifications. Whatever he does, do not fly it tail heavy. It’s a good plane, but not as forgiving as our other warbirds."

Maybe this will be helpful for someone like it is for me.
