OK, Ill be honest, Im a jet jock, not a real big fan of quads. Lets just say, Im in the Army (I am) and the Pubblic Affairs section at my work just got a new DJ Phatom Professhional Quad.

Im the only one in the whole building who dose RC. Im waching this lady unbox it and looking at it like its from Outer Space.

So I ask nicely what she planes to use it for, as I know they are always at our Larg Public Events takeing pictures, She says she wants to use it to get good pics and vid of the events we have on base.

I tell her "You know you cant fly that thing over a large group of peaple right?" and she gives me the deer in the head lights look. But I started to think that maybe Im being an ass and asummuning what the rules are. So my question is what are the rule when useing a Quad at public events?
She dont need AMA as this Army base is not an AMA site Right?
Even thow she is a Soilder, the Army did not tell her to do this so she would be responsalbe for injury as a person not the Army right?
