NO WAY the big stick flies better than the GSS. Nor does it look anywhere near as pretty as the GSS. Few planes do.
But I'll give you this: The Big Stik CAN do some pretty wild things if you set it up for crow, etc.
You really don't need the gear any wider than the Big Stik gear. Lots of guys use the GP Super Stearman gear, and they have no problems at all, and the Stearman gear is 4 inches NARROWER than the Big Stik gear. Also, I think the tall gear looks awesome on the GSS.
