Well, if it wasn't for the "overpriced" OS, there wouldn't be the cheap COPY. It costs time and money for R&D to design and develop something. Then someone comes along and copies it without having to do all the R&D, so of course they can sell it cheaper.

The OS isn't overpriced, the ASP is cheap because they ripped off another companies design.
