To answer one question, the pictures of warbirds that are in my gallery are from Warbirds Over The Rockies, an event that I covered for RCU. I uploaded them to my gallery so that I could get the images into the Shot Of the Moment application that runs RCU's front page. If you want to look into my gallery latter on today you will probably see a bunch of jets there as well, these are from Jets Over Kentucky. But they don't have anything to do with what style of airplanes that I prefer as well. But if you want to know what type of flying I prefer please don't make any assumptions and ask me. As a side note, I don't participate in the AMA forum for a reason. Many years ago RCU was ready to close down the AMA forum because of the mess it was. I took it over and I made a promise that I would moderate it but I would never participate in any discussion on in the forum for the simple reason that I want to remain 100% neutral on anything going in the forum. That way when I do have to take actions I can't be accused of taking actions to promote my own view point. Now will on occasion post a phone number to somebody at the AMA, or post the link to something on the AMA's website. But other than that I will NEVER enter into any discussion so that I can remain 100% neutral in any discussion going on here. You can be sure that any actions I take here are backed by the rules of RCU and not by any personal bias.
Now to address your concerns about my comments about closing this thread. That is what I have said. If you want to look back to the history of threads started by Crash99 in this AMA Forum you will find that they all have the same theme. Basically that they follow the same "3D flyers are the best flyers because .......". There have been many of these threads started by him using this same line of reasoning over the years. One recent one that leaps to mind even went so far as to suggest that 3D flyers should get cheaper insurance rates because they are safer flyers than other types of pilots. When this thread started up I received numerous complaints from members about his once again starting another "3D flyers are better pilots" thread. So that's where my where my warning comes from. If this is a legitimate thread then I'm more than happy to let it run and have a healthy discussion about this topic. But if it turns into another one of his "3D pilots are better pilots because......" then it's going to be closed. Plain and simple.
