Sounds pretty technical....
The "adapter ring" is not on the crank, it's the part that bolts onto the crankcase..
The speed of the magnet relative to the engine speed can't be changed, it rotates in the hub..
Bottom line ...You put the "adapter ring" in the right place on the crankcase and the ignition works..[8D]
