Didn't use the gauge, but mine is set :- Balance back 15mm from the boom dots
Take off flap TE root section 25mm (1") and 3mm (1/8") up mixed in.
Landing flap TE root section 90mm (3 5/8") and 7mm (bit more than 1/4") up mixed in.
Any CROW and you can reduce the elevator up compensation
