Either the top half of the strut will bend or the trunion will distort. Don't ask how I know
There is still one more option. Tread on plywood will give in first and whole nose gear assembly will tear the back edge of wheel bay. Again don't ask
Maybe even worse to fix. It kinda depends. But in short landing gear is very sturdy.
