Yep! basically, it dumps lift. Effect can be different depending on the wing section and aileron cord ratio. It changes the wing incidence on that portion of wing, so it works well on something like a Classic Flash as it changes the angle the airframe flies at, raising the nose, so adding drag, the nice fat wing section still has plenty of lift.

For me the Bobcat has plenty of drag from the flaps, so like the UF I don't like CROW on these.
