I really like the detail your doing
I went with the soft mount and instead of the 3/8 ply I used piece of 7/16 cold roll steel and then had to take a big hole in the center to get the balance and the other good thing is the steel plate really dampens the engine vibrations ( G-62 mag ) don't know what engine your using, so with the Tiano cast engine in the cowl it dose give you some advantage.
I am hoping to get the paint done this winter so my bird is ready to fly come spring
