[QUOTE=Rocketman612;12134316]Bob,
Exactly. But I found that I was either high or low on the throttle. That sweet spot is a small target lol.
Hear is what I have been playing with ( a sport bird ) flying straight and level, then pull the power back the get a steady rate of decent ( had my flying buddy mark the throttle position with a marker )
after landing with the bird on a run up bench we set a switch so that in the off position full throttle movement, but when the switch is in the on the marked position I get a flight idle, and then all I need is just a tad of up to flare and with the throttle stick back, all I have to do is flip the switch to off and the engine goes to full idle. been playing with this most of the last flying season, and it has worked fairly good now I will try to set this up on my Corsair for next season if I get the paint done
Note I am still using my OLD Futaba 8U so the programming is a big PITA on my 7c it is fairly easy
Hope this helps
Cheers Bob T
PS timing is everything
