For lighter buggies and 2wd 1/10 trucks, a 30C discharge rate (minimum) for LiPo battery packs is a good rate to start with. Now, jumping up to 1/10 scale 4wd heavier platforms, I would suggest using batteries with at least a 40C discharge rate minimum.
