Hello everyone,

I just purchased a new Stampede VXL 4x4 w/TSM and it is supposed to be ready to run, out of the box. This will be a Christmas gift for my son and I have been told by various websites that I should be buying various upgrades. I was told to look into different gears to make it go faster, but it already looks pretty fast from the YouTube videos my son has shown me. Also, I have read I need to purchase another battery and it should be a bigger one. I like the idea of another battery, so he can be driving while the other one is charging. What could any of your recommend that is probably close to a "NEED", rather than a "WANT or NICE TO HAVE" concept. Thanks.
