12146790]Actually they already have, and it won't even cost any money or require FAA registration. It's unofficially called "RC Microflight". The FAA and AMA combined have just done a great job of promoting it.
As for the people who say not to hold the AMA responsible, I agree it probably wouldn't have made a difference, but they took ownership of the responsibility whether they like it or not, by including the craft.
I had for a number of years, and basically never flew at a flying field that required it, being rural. I doubt I'd do it now however, unless I were to join one.

Disagreeing with an organization's policy is one thing. On the other hand, Would U put up with someone that hated your organization (CLUB) and despised/Bad mouthed everything the Club Officers did? I doubt it very much if they would continue to cause dissension & contempt in the club. Would U not refuse to admit them. Most clubs have a clause in their BY-LAWS that deal with just that issue.
