Helicopter guy does know what he is talking about a multi rotor is more than 2 rotors. A helicopter has 1 on top and one on tail for stability that's not a mulity rotor. Well, lets split hairs a bit and agree that a heli has absolutely more than one rotor, and both control the aircraft.
But...I saw this post after hitting save on my other one. Thanks for answering the question, I really do appreciate it. Again, I don't fly helis or MR/Drones, so I can honestly say I have no bias for or against them.

. But here are some of the absolutely amazing aircraft this guy has built using multiple rotors. They are little works of art, technologically creative, and just pretty damn cool. I cannot fathom for a second why anyone, even die hard "traditional " modelers would ever consider keeping this guy or his aircraft out of the AMA. For the record...he flies fixed wing too.
