Quite true, but the thread DID diverge a bit to discuss high temps, running WOT & the fact that it the engine stalls at idle if it gets too hot (something I think of as a POSITIVE, not a problem!).

I guess there's still a big question out there re. whether or not the 2.5 (or ANY nitro MT engine!!) can & should be tuned to run SAFELY (within reccomended temp. range) when running at WOT for extended periods (1-5 minutes solid)?????????

Seems I have a few "NOs" and one "yes". Gee, that's settled

BTW, I DO run it pretty darn rich-I can't even go any richer without killing the engine!
