I think that you are stuck buying the pump. That is the best way to go. As for the muffler you can use nearly any muffler if the setup is right. Of course the final result may not allow for perfect start and stop of oil but it will look good either way. To do it you need to put a pressure tap nipple into the closest area to the engine. This will provide for the hottest gasses for burning. If that does not give you enough smoke try and secure a length of copper tubing to the muffler. By passing the oil through the tubing prior to injecting it into it will preheat the oil and make for better smoke. Let me know if you need any more info or if I can help in any way.
