Here's something for the "brotherhood" to enjoy.
Picked this up for less than I could assemble the individual parts for.
It's a Legend Models '38 with 2x RCGF 15CC gas two strokes. Not my choice of engine but since they were already installed, what the heck. Test flight was performed with 3 blade master airscrew 14x7 props.
I was not comfortable with the engines on my first flight and forced a landing situation in which I got too slow at 2 foot off the ground and ended up having to do some repairs to the right wing and left boom.
The following images and video are from the flights performed after the repair work.
The engines are gaining my confidence and the 4th flight last Sunday was performed with APC 14x8 two blades and the overall performance was MUCH improved.
The plane accelerates faster and flies with a higher top speed than seen in the video.
I am slowly changing out the servos, as the original builder opted for hobby king servos that seem a bit sketchy in their operation.
