I built a 4*40 about 6 months ago as the next step up from a Sig Kadet LT-40 and have found it to be as easy to fly as a true trainer. Actually easier. The biggest problem is that it has so much wing it likes to float on landing. I have been told that if you shorten the wing, 1 rib on each end, it makes a great flying plane. You might consider it.
