I just got back from looking at that plane. It's at a flea market about 45 minutes from the house. Not a 4 stroke at all. It's got a small Ryobi gas engine in it which I was told was just put there for looks. The plane itself is in good shape but I noticed the wing was held on with wood screws. I was told the guy who owned it (he wasn't there yet) had bought it in Huntsville, AL. so maybe one of the Huntsville boys might recognize it.

I was interested in it mostly hoping it had a big 4 stroke in it but no such luck. As it is I wouldn't have paid half that much for it but I'm not in the market for a pattern plane either.
