I guess I got used to BVMs design, where you have a short barbed fitting on both sides, vs having a slightly longer stright pass-through tube for tygon to attach too. But there is no real practical benefit.
In my case, I already have on on my RHS tank so I'd like to match the LHS. But I should be able to use yours if I have to. Its a great design, no doubt about it.

If I cant get the one on backorder by the end of month, I'll deffinetly order yours.
