Hard to believe but today marks the 40th anniversary of the first commercial flights of the ultimate Jet airliner, Concorde. BA : LHR to BAH, AF : CDG to RIO, what a truly amazing achievement, totally unmatched.

Sadly, at at last night,s celebration at the R Ae S, only John Lidiard is the only surviving member of the original crew.

And the BBC couldn't even mention it on any news programme.
