Aeroastro congrats on finishing up a Ziroli build.
ProfLooney, I too want to build a Ziroli size plane, but want to tweek it to look more scale. My plan is to build a plug from foam, glass it, detail it, and make molds. The Yellow P-38 is about as big as I can get in and out of my basement by myself. A Ziroli will need to come apart to stay manageable (for me). Thinking glass booms and gondola, with (maybe) foam core wings and stab that all "plug In". Not sure, in the early thinking about it stage, but I know I like glass and foam planes
There seems to be a bunch of cutaway drawings, some pretty good scale drawings with stations and former shapes, and a few plans. Honestly, you can't bet the factory drawings if you want to get it right. Nice fine!
I hope you will keep us posted on your progress, and if that site has the views RCs need.
