Growing into the hobby
11 months into the hobby and I just purchased my first 3D which is the Aerowrks 90 size 540T Edge. What I started off with was the Avistar migrating to the WM super stunt 60 and then to the H9 Aersti. Comparing the Aersti to the Edge I must say that the Aersti keeps me a lot more busy then the Edge does. If I had to classify the Aersti I would class it as more like a pattern, although it does have some nice aerobatic characteristics such as knife edges etc.....
The WM super stunt 60 is nothing but a kite with an engine, sorta speak. I would put any new beginner on this plane for learning as the Hugh wing and loading really gives it nice floating characteristics. Hence would work really well in a fun fly like the time and glide event, not to mention its 80" wing span allows it into the big bird events.
