I'm working on this right now, Steve. I take it you haven't seen any of the FPV videos on my youtube channel? I'm currently working on exactly the system you're talking about, with the camera mounted on the mantlet so it looks right down the barrel, with a laser pointer, and the whole unit disguised as one of the Infrared camera systems the Germans were experimenting with.
