Clubs are usually formed by a group of friends, sharing a common interest.
I believe that the AMA requires 5 members, minimum.
If you have a local hobby shop, I suggest that you tell them what you have in mind, and leave them your contact info. They can pass the word to other like minded people in your area..
Once enough interest is received, a meeting can be scheduled and you can start from there.
