OK, I guess I really need to join the masses
Please sign me up! I promise to behave (within reason). I have 2 complete kits and 1 wing kit . None have been started as yet as I am finishing up an Elder 40 that will be followed by a Lou Andrews Aeromaster. The Chipmunk will be done up as Art Scholl's was. I was a big fan of his and had the opportunity to talk with him on more than one occasion. Very interesting guy with some scary stories about things that can go wrong at an airshow. I'd like to build a wing with retracts installed, but I'd like to hear from someone who has actually done it. From what I have read the landing gear is a weak point.
