Where is the regulator in reguards to the battery. If you tried to charge the battery through the regulator, it will not charge. The same regulator that limits the current comming out of the battery will also limit the current going into the battery when you try to charge it. (Just a thought) However: I did have a ignition module go bad on my 3.2-- but it would not even pop.
