Hello, I have a 6014 FS receiver, which was included with my 12FG that I purchased a few years ago. The receiver seems to be the original version with no 'dot'. Is it safe to use? Stopped using it approximately 4 years ago after I lost signal connection while flying a 50cc yak, with over 100 flights on the combinaton. Are their things I should do to keep it from failing - protected from direct sunlight, etc. Thanks!
