Here is what I use, Dubro Super Strength Landing Gear .35-.61 epoxy in some 1/4 ply during the build with some blind nuts and use some nylon bolts to hold it in place so it can break away on a hard landing. Don't forget to move the gear close to the leading edge of the wing as you said you were making it a tail dragger right?
