Yes, patch antennae is the plan. I have one installed at the top of the nose intake pointing down and forward. The nose will be painted, as the nose intake on the real jet is composite, so no FliteMetal to obstruct the reception. The second antennae I plan to install at the rear top of the cockpit, pointing up and back. The canopy frame will also be painted. The antennae will be located above the FM fuse radiating thru the clear canopy.
