I usually put the nose wheel in Aux3. In the channel assignment section of the System menu I assign AUX3 to the Ltrimmer. This way you can trim the nose wheel without effecting the rudder.
Then I mix RUD to Aux3 with the gear switch (A) set to turn on the mix when the gear is down.
