Roger was given it by a builder who had contracted cancer and no longer had much enrergy. Roger got the kit free gratis and for nothing on condition that he finish the model.
The baton has now been passed on to me.
I got my VK Models DR.1 project in a similar way. I just put the fuselage sides on my fuselage jig to assemble the fuselage box I will post a picture later.
