Is it possible that the airflow over a wing or fuselage could carry an object such as a drone past without actually hitting. I would think that unless an object is dead center it would be carried past. IŽḿ thinking of the pictures of laminar airflow like the wake from a boat. Maybe the mass and momentum of the two objects colliding is too much to be affected by airflow.
