Hi
I am very pleased with international cooperation between modelers.
If you have problems to take big props in the
www.rcfaq.com
have a link to carving helical pitch propellers. I make my own props for cost reason, I must work a long day to pay a decent imported prop.
I make 9 props from two types of wood, and work well in a Homelite 38 chainsaw converted.
But you must have a special chisel , not to dificult to make from an outer ring of a big ball bearing, nice steel.
The wood type is not critical. I make from a wood called "alamo" like a very hard balsa and a bit heavier and no problem.
Good luck
