I`m one frustrated FEJ Customer, get ripped out over 15k but thats a diffrent Story.
I decided to give Skyaviations a try and now building one of this Hawks.
First impressions are that the overall quality is still good and better than FEJ crap.
In stressed areas they use good plywood, here and there reinforced with some carbon fibre.
The clamps with the fasteners in the herex bulkhead are only to fix the wing. There is no load
on this point, this hawk use a massiv carbon wing tube.
But lets say i cant look into the wings or the elevator ..... will be nice if "someone" can post a pic
of the internal structure ;-)
I put a IQ-220 in mine and guys i will fly the heck out of this Hawk immediately when she is ready.
I will let you know what happend after the first few flights ......
