What is a 3 way filter? I run three lines on my setups a fill line, vent, and fuel line. I put a sintered bronze filter on the fuel line and just a plain clung on the fill line so I am not pushing fuel against the filter. Quite honestly with a filter in the gas can and one in the tank there can't be that much dirt getting through. Funny thing is I have an old homelite weedwacker that has never had a filter change or fuel line replacement in 20 years, and every spring it fires right up in 2-3 pulls.
