Hay Chris,
I was surprised to about the Roto tank, for I've run then with excellent results in the past. But you never know and I also removed the three way filter I used too. Now to be honest I don't know if it was a combination of several things, to include the possibility my carburetor-or just the fuel tank itself. But its working now and happy with the results.
