Thanks acdii, Here is the link to the gyro I used http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCNFR&P=0 It worked great, There was absolutely no problems with ground loops with the gyro, take offs were a non event with it.

With the help of malcom holts book on the 14sg I was able set it up on a 3 postion switch with out to much problem.
