... flying RC aircraft's is not as easy as it looks... RW pilots understand the principle of flight better than most RC pilots, but its the perspective of standing on the ground flying an aircraft, rather than sitting in the cockpit that gets them... their minds are trained on a different set of sensory sensations, that is of no use to them when flying an RC aircraft... they have to retrain their minds to react to situations they would never experience sitting in the cockpit, as we had to when we first started out; like flying towards oneself, (which was the biggest hurdle I had to overcome).
