If you join a club and bring that plane to a meeting and tell them your story, it's almost guaranteed that someone will help with your engine and there is a good chance some one would give you a futaba 72 mhz TX; but you can probably buy a DX6i off one of the members for the cheap.
Join a club, take that plane to the field on a weekend or club meeting and that plane will be in the air at no time.
