Ken, I'm a bit slow so bear with me. Are you going to paint the plane and leave under the masking tape plain covering color?
Or are you planning on re masking the pinstripes later?
I did this plane all white first, then the black nose, covered the nose and then the green.
When the tape and paper was removed the white accent stripes were revealed.
Is this what you are planning?
