NORTH ALABAMA! You're local to me! I race at RC3 all the time, so I'm probably the best source for information, lol. Open mod is indeed electric, as well. Stadium truck is not a massive club at RC3, but there's normally a class of them. For a chassis, RC Hobbies (hobby shop there) has bunches of Associated parts as well as a fair bit of TLR. I'd suggest the RCT5M, as the mid motor is what most of the people who podium use. For a motor, get an 8.5 to start out and then work your way down to a 6.5 for stadium truck class.
