25:1 is a bit heavy mix for the Zenoah in my opinion. That is the reason for the oil build-up on the plane. I ran regular 2 cycle oil at 32:1 in a new engine then switched to Klotz synthetic at 40:1 after it was broken-in. Only get a few specs of brown on the plane after engine runs. Yes the engine will need to be re-tuned.
