Logically such a deal makes sense for both BV and JL. BV gets the cash and JL gets a reputation, albeit not for very long, as the inherent Asian lack of QC will pervade. That being said, the lack of comment, yay or nay from those in the know, could be an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) which were I part of JL, would be the first thing signed by anyone on the BV side of any negotiation. After all it is only the BV name and reputation that carries any real value to any Asian manufacturer. Molds and all the inventory are virtually worthless to them as they will manufacture as they see fit not as Bob had done it. Sad to say that if this is true, and I am skeptical to say the least, then the end of an era is at hand. If they hired the FEJ staff then the end is closer than even I suspect!
