Bummer I was hoping to get to see one of your finish jobs then a maiden. I watched a lot of your DF designs fly in the mid 90's.

George why did you not try turbines ? Your design philosophy with the Byron fans and big open fuselages works perfectly with turbines. Turbines don't need any kind of intake ducting you can put any type of junk in front of them including simple rectangular fuel tanks, they just don't care and tons of power in a tiny package. Your lightweight designs would fly great with small 16 pound thrust turbines.
